Harry Potter on July 21st!
I know this comes late but: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out July 21st! I’ve been on a sort of hiatus from the Harry Potter fandom, but that doesn’t mean the new book doesn’t get me excited! Me and my friend Sara promised each other that when the 7th Harry Potter book comes we would fly to London and attend a real Harry Potter party. That part is still open, I would love to travel to London, but I don’t know where I will be on July 21st (in Sweden or Germany?) so from where should I book the flight? Also, when I actually get my hands on the book, I want to start reading it right away and not stop until I’ve reached the last page and last word. So, waste money to travel to London and then just stay in the hotel room reading a book? Hmm… Right now, it feels like I can enjoy the release of the final Harry Potter book wherever I am and it will be great. Harry Potter is international, so who says London HP parties are better than, say Munich HP parties? Either way, the seventh Harry Potter book will be in my hands in less than six months!
No commentsOde to Friends
I’ve realised this before, but sometimes it just comes back and hits me: I love, love, love the tv show Friends! I started watching it around 1998 when I was 11 years old, although my parents tried to forbid me to watch it cause they said it was for adults. I begged to differ and watched it anyway (although not without a fight). In my class from 3rd to 6th grade (we we’re a tight class, everyone were really good friends) we all watched the show and imitated stuff from it. We slapped each other butts, we did the fists together thing and yelled “vaffanapoli!” to each other. Still today, every weekday you can watch re-runs of Friends on Channel 5 in Sweden, and if I am home I always watch and laugh just as hard as the first time, even though I’ve probably seen the episode for more than ten times. My dad always complains about this: “Why do you have to watch this? You’ve already seen it ten times!” Well, it doesn’t matter. I could have seen the episode a hundred times and I would still have enjoyed watching it. Those who made Friends are geniuses. I love you for making that show. *back to watching The One With the Jam for 20th time*
