Saturday night. 9.43pm. Rain pouring outside. Bored to death. Nothing to do. On page 602 in Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. Tomorrow I will hopefully have seen the movie version. Did I say rain is pouring outside? *sigh*

I decided to clean up at rockless.org. I want to move this blog to the main page… Any idea how to do that? And then this blog should mainly be a book/travel blog, but I might mix it with other things as well. Then I might revive my Livejournal account, make that friends-only, and write the most personal stuff there.

Finished Haruki Muramaki’s novel Kafka on the Shore and the word that comes first into mind is weird. One of the reviewers of the book, quoted at the bak of the book, said this novel is “out of this world” and that’s how it felt. Weird suff after weird stuff kept piling on each other and after finishing the book I did not become anymore enlighted or got an explanation to all these weird things.

As a reaction to that, I believe I am still living in Muramaki’s novel, weird stuff happened to me today. I was out picknicking with a friend, we were both studying for an upcoming exam and I was bent over a book, part of my back visible, when I heard somone walk by. Nothing weird there, but suddenly I felt someone run his (it was a man) finger on the skin of my back. As I turned around I just saw the back of a man. I have no idea how this man looked like because I didn’t turn around when he looked (my friend looked for me and he said he looked back at us) But I felt really uncomfortable and weird and creeped out. I don’t want some strange man touching me! We decided to leave shortly after that.

All the weird stuff does not end there. While being out on the field, picknicking, I had put some stuff in the laundry machine in the laundry room. I think I was about an hour late to when the machine would actually have finished, but I thought just put the laundry on top of the machine and I’ll come and get it. The problem was: My laundry was not there! Somone had stolen them! I cannot believe this… I had a sheet (the only sheet I own) and some underwear. Now who the hell would want to steal my underwear? Eww… Makes me feels just as creeped out as on the field.

Last week when a friend told me that next week it’s going to snow, I thought he was crazy. Of course it’s not gonna snow! It’s March! I thought. But guess what? SNOW! Probably gonna stay in bed and do nothing like yesterday and plan my Asiatip 2007. I am trying to work out an itenerary. Right now I have: London-Hong Kong, Hong Kong-Shanghai (maybe stay somewhere on the way). Shanghai-Peking (see the wall, “oh hi wall! goodbye wall!”), back to Shanghai, from Shanghai to Japan and Osaka, from Osaka to Tokyo, and then maybe some other places in Japan, back to Shanghai again then move south, visit some places south of China, make our way to Vietnam, and then to Thailand through Cambodia. Meet Francoise Davide at Koh Lanta (I believe he has been waiting for us…). From Thailand I would like to travel to Malaysia, then I don’t know. Maybe Indonesia? Or just go home. My money might have run out when I reach Kuala Lumpur.
